Which PAC is used for payroll stamping?

The GTI Stamp Service interacts with two Authorized Certification Providers (PAC):

Why do you handle two Internet Digital Tax Receipt Certification Providers, known as PACs?

In order to offer a higher level of redundancy in the operation of its services, GTI Stamp Service can interchangeably handle stamping and stamping cancellations with more than one PAC.

How were both PACs selected?

Each of the PACs was selected after demonstrating sufficient technical and operational capacity to correctly, reliably and efficiently handle the stamping volumes that Grupo Tress Internacional customers require on a daily basis.

Can I stamp with more than one PAC?

Yes, the SAT does not distinguish between one PAC or another, there are no limitations on stamping with a single PAC in a given fiscal year.

Will I be assigned one of these PACs to stamp?

Since there is no difference for taxpayers between stamping with one PAC or the other during a fiscal year, GTI Stamp Service assigns each client’s activities to one of the two PACs, thus seeking to:

– Increase stamping speed
– Distribute processing loads evenly
– Avoid or reduce service interruptions due to scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.

What happens when there are problems with one of the PACs?

While troubleshooting, all stamping and cancellation activities for all clients are assigned to the other PAC.

Can I choose which PAC to use for stamping?

No. In order to offer the benefit of redundancy when handling multiple PACs, it is necessary that each customer can be assigned indistinctly to any of the available PACs. Otherwise, that customer would be tied to the chosen PAC with no way to manage their activity in case of failures.

Can another PAC be included in the GTI Stamp Service PAC list?

No. Having two PACs has more than adequately achieved the goal of increasing capacity and reducing risks for all clients.

How is the data handled by the GTI Stamping Service backed up?

The GTI Stamp Service data is automatically backed up online through a mechanism that provides multiple levels of redundancy, ensuring the availability and operation of the service at all times.
